Greetings, we would like to introduce you to your friends...the ID, Ego, and Super-ego.  Please follow the below link and answer the assignment questions:

Mary Ann Marzano says:

The whole bible is one big war between the id and the super-ego. The id being our flesh and the super-ego being the Holy Spirit in us. In the Old Testament, God is constantly trying to get His children to obey. Do they ever listen...no. It took 40 years to cover a 11 day journey because they couldn't control their urges. The New Testament is a little different in that Jesus dies for our sins because we just can't seem to get it right. Even though we find salvation through Jesus, we are still told to strive to a hirer level, overcoming our id. Dying to the flesh is a regular suggestion in the N.T.
